Japanese Nihil Zero (M3): prices, chase cards and box guide

The short version

Nihil Zero, set code M3, is a Japanese MEGA Series expansion released on January 23, 2026. As of September 24, 2026 its listed value narrows onto a handful of cards. The Mega Ultra Rare Mega Zygarde ex #117 is about $170.42 on the US market and the Special Art Rare Meowth ex #114 is about $84.62. One copy of every card in the set costs about $511.78 at market, so those two are about $255 of that, near half. Rosa's Encouragement #115 is third at about $62.72, and the fourth card is about $29.05.

A loose pack is about $2.29 and the booster box about $76.62. This site holds no pull-rate data for Japanese sets, which is why none of Nihil Zero's sealed rows carries an expected value and no card in the set carries odds.

Nihil Zero is filed here as jp-24600, MEGA series, set code M3. The set page lists 117 cards, and all 117 carry a US market price.

The printed total is 80, so 37 numbers sit above it. Those 37 numbers match the four tiers above the Double Rares exactly: 1 Mega Ultra Rare, 6 Special Art Rares, 18 Super Rares and 12 Art Rares. Every card of those tiers named in this guide is numbered 85 or higher, and the highest-priced card of each tier below them, from the Double Rare Meowth ex #61 down to the Common Snorlax #62, sits inside the 80. The numbers

These are the set page's own totals, taken from the TCGplayer feed and refreshed once a day.

The median card is about 17 cents. Nine cards reach $10 and three reach $50: Mega Zygarde ex #117, Meowth ex #114 and Rosa's Encouragement #115. Those nine are about $430 of the $511.78 total, roughly 84 percent, and the other 108 cards come to about $82 between them.

Seven cards, the Mega Ultra Rare and the six Special Art Rares, account for about $409, close to 80 percent. Add the 18 Super Rares and the 12 Art Rares and those 37 cards reach about $498, roughly 97 percent. The 80 cards at and below the printed total come to about $14 in total, less than the sixth most expensive card on its own.

The eight are the Mega Ultra Rare, all six Special Art Rares and one Super Rare, about $420 together, or roughly 82 percent of the set's summed value. Mega Zygarde ex #117 leads at about $170.42, roughly twice Meowth ex #114 at about $84.62. Rosa's Encouragement #115 follows at about $62.72, and the largest step inside the Special Art Rare tier comes after it: Mega Zygarde ex #113 about $29.05, Mega Clefable ex #112 about $27.41, Mega Starmie ex #111 about $22.25 and Jacinthe #116 about $12.47. The eighth card is the Super Rare Meowth ex #100 at about $11.03, the highest-priced Super Rare in the set.

Clefairy #86 at about $10.19 is the highest-priced Art Rare and misses eighth place by under a dollar. Below it the ladder flattens: Rosa's Encouragement #107 about $7.81, Mega Starmie ex #95 about $4.48, Mega Zygarde ex #97 about $3.64, Jacinthe #108 about $3.62, Mega Clefable ex #96 about $3.60 and the Art Rare Dedenne #85 about $3.54.

The six Super Rares inside the set's 15 dearest cards carry the same six names as the six Special Art Rares, and in every pair the Special Art Rare prices higher: about 3 times for Jacinthe, about 5 times for Mega Starmie ex, about 8 times at the top of the range. Mega Zygarde ex is named three times among those 15, at about $170.42, $29.05 and $3.64, and Meowth ex twice, at about $84.62 and $11.03, with a third printing lower down as the Double Rare #61 at about 66 cents, the most expensive Double Rare in the set.

The rarity ladder

The tiers here are the Japanese ones. Top to bottom, with the count in each tier and what it costs as of September 24, 2026:

• Mega Ultra Rare, 1 card: Mega Zygarde ex #117 at about $170.42, about a third of the set's summed value on its own.
• Special Art Rare, 6 cards: about $239 together, an average of about $39.75. Set #114 aside and the other five run from about $12.47 to about $62.72.
• Super Rare, 18 cards: about $56 together, an average of about $3.09, the highest about $11.03.
• Art Rare, 12 cards: about $33 together, an average of about $2.77, the highest about $10.19.
• Double Rare, 8 cards: an average of about 42 cents, the highest Meowth ex #61 at about 66 cents.
• Rare, 8 cards: an average of about 23 cents, the highest Serperior #6 at about 32 cents.
• Uncommon, 27 cards: an average of about 16 cents, the highest Gengar #49 at about 68 cents.
• Common, 37 cards: an average of about 12 cents, the highest Snorlax #62 at about 26 cents.

Two things follow. The Art Rare and Super Rare tiers price close to each other, and all 30 of their cards together come to about $89, against about $409 for the seven above them. The bottom of the ladder is flat, and the dearest card among those 80 is not a Double Rare but the Uncommon Gengar #49. Why there is no expected value for this set

The pull-rate source recorded for Nihil Zero is none. Pullnomics has no Japanese pull-rate data, and all three of the set's sealed rows carry no pack count and no expected value. Three things follow.

• No odds appear here for any card in Nihil Zero, including Mega Zygarde ex #117.
• No per-pack value, break-even price, EV ratio or chase share appears for any Nihil Zero product.
• No English set's rates stand in for the missing ones. Those come from counted openings of English packs on a different rarity ladder, and carrying them across would invent a number rather than estimate one.

None of the three products appears on the sealed EV board, and with no pack count recorded this guide prints no box size and no price per pack.

Three Nihil Zero products have a price here. The booster box is about $76.62 and a single booster pack about $2.29, which puts the box at about 33 times the price of one loose pack. That is a ratio of two prices, not a pack count. The third is the Mega Special Card Set: Mega Gallade ex at about $49.37, filed under the set as a product of type other; nothing recorded here states what is inside it.

A pack at about $2.29 falls under the $5 market floor, and so do 107 of the 117 cards: exactly 10 price at $5 or more, from Mega Zygarde ex #117 at about $170.42 down to Rosa's Encouragement #107 at about $7.81. The box clears the floors, and 12 percent under its market price is about $67.42 on the item price, before shipping. For the card set the same cap works out at about $43.44.

How to buy it

Every Japanese card and product page here shows the TCGplayer market price, its price history and an eBay search button, and from $5 up it also prints the price that is 12 percent below market and adds a capped button in front of that one: here that means the box, the card set and the 10 cards at $5 or more, while the $2.29 pack and the other 107 cards carry a single button. Both run searches for Buy It Now listings from US sellers, sorted by price plus shipping, with proxies, lots, code cards and look-alike products left out; one is capped at 12 percent under market, the other is the same search with no cap. Both are affiliate links. The block below is the site's deal block for Nihil Zero, and it draws on the matched listing feed rather than on an eBay search.

One point matters more on a Japanese set than on an English one. Pullnomics does not scan Japanese listings into its deal feed, because the singles matcher is English-only. Who it suits

• Zygarde collectors. Mega Zygarde ex appears at three rarities inside the set's 15 dearest cards: the Mega Ultra Rare #117, the Special Art Rare #113 and the Super Rare #97.
• Special Art Rare collectors. All six cost about $239 together, or about $154 for the five that are not Meowth ex #114.
• Art Rare collectors. The 12 card tier costs about $33 in total, with a mean of about $2.77 and Clefairy #86 at about $10.19 at the top.
• Completists. About $511.78 covers one of every card, and about $194 covers the 114 that are not one of the three at $50 or more.
