Riftbound sleeved packs vs loose packs vs booster boxes
A sleeved Riftbound booster holds the same 14-card pack as a loose pack or one from a 24-pack display. What each cost per pack on October 17, 2026, set by set.
A Riftbound sleeved booster, a loose booster pack and a pack from a booster display hold the same thing: one 14-card booster pack of the set. The distributor's sell sheet for Radiance puts it plainly: "Each Sleeved Booster contains 1 Riftbound: Radiance booster pack." What differs is the packaging, how the pack reaches the buyer, and the price.
On October 17, 2026 the price per pack on TCGplayer ran in the same order in every released English set: a pack in a 24-pack display cost least, a loose pack more, and a sleeved pack the most. For Origins that was $9.12, $12.70 and $15.38; for Vendetta $5.76, $7.47 and $8.64.
What each one is
- A booster pack holds 14 cards: 7 Commons, 3 Uncommons, 2 foil Rares or better, 1 foil of any rarity and 1 token, for every set from Origins to Radiance (the sell sheets). Legacy, due January 29, 2027, changes the make-up.
- A sleeved booster is one of those packs in a sleeve; Radiance's sheet says it comes in three sleeve designs. Its MSRP is $4.99.
- A booster display, the product people call a booster box, holds 24 packs. Its MSRP is $120, which is $5.00 a pack. A case holds 6 displays.
- A loose pack on TCGplayer is a single pack sold without a sleeve. It has no MSRP of its own.
Two more products are made of packs: the sleeved booster art bundle, three sleeved packs in one product, and the Vault, from Unleashed on, which holds 6 packs with 36 basic runes and 3 tokens at an MSRP of $34.99.
Price per pack on October 17, 2026
| Set | Display, per pack | Loose pack | Sleeved pack | Art bundle, per pack |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Origins | $9.12 | $12.70 | $15.38 | $19.40 |
| Spiritforged | $7.04 | $9.56 | $11.95 | $10.09 |
| Unleashed | $7.28 | $7.94 | $9.09 | $8.90 |
| Vendetta | $5.76 | $7.47 | $8.64 | $9.78 |
These are TCGplayer market prices, before tax and shipping. The art bundle did not always cost more per pack than a single sleeved pack: for Spiritforged and Unleashed it cost less. Radiance, out October 23, 2026, had presale prices only, and the pack prices guide has its row and a live table for every set.
What the packaging changes and what it does not
The pack inside is the same booster pack, so a sleeved pack and a loose pack draw from the same cards. Riot publishes no pull rates by product, and nothing on the sell sheets says a sleeve, a display or a bundle changes what a pack can hold.
What the packaging does change:
- The packaging. A sleeved pack comes in a sleeve, a display holds 24 packs in one box, and a loose pack is sold on its own.
- How much is bought at once. A display is 24 packs in one purchase, an art bundle 3, a single sleeved or loose pack 1.
- The price. The table above: the same pack cost a different amount in each form on the same day.
Decks are not boosters
A champion deck or a showdown deck contains booster packs, one or two according to the sell sheets, but each is one or two fixed 56-card decklists with packs added. Its price is not a pack price. The product types guide explains each product.
How we got these numbers
The data pack was built from the site's catalog on October 17, 2026: TCGplayer market prices for every English Riftbound sealed product, from TCGplayer's feed through TCGCSV. A display's per-pack figure divides its price by 24 and an art bundle's by 3, the counts the sell sheet and the product name give. Pack contents and MSRPs come from the UVS sell sheets, read the same day. The methodology page explains where market prices come from.
What changes and what stays
Dated figures: every price and per-pack figure here is as of October 17, 2026. Each Riftbound set page shows them live.
Lasting facts: a sleeved booster is one booster pack in a sleeve, a display holds 24 packs and an art bundle 3, and a pack holds 14 cards, in the same make-up from Origins to Radiance. Legacy, from January 29, 2027, changes the pack's make-up, and a new product could change the counts.
Bottom line
A sleeved Riftbound booster, a loose pack and a pack from a display are the same 14-card pack. On October 17, 2026 the display was the lowest per pack and the sleeved pack the highest in every released set, from $9.12, $12.70 and $15.38 for Origins to $5.76, $7.47 and $8.64 for Vendetta, before tax and shipping. The suggested prices are $5.00 a pack in a display and $4.99 sleeved.
