TAG TEAM cards: the 39 pairings in the English catalog, priced
The catalog lists 131 English TAG TEAM cards in 39 pairings. On October 4, 2026, the median card was about $93.38 and the dearest was Latias & Latios-GX #170.
The card database records the TAG TEAM subtype on 131 English cards. All but one come from the Sun & Moon series: five sets released between February 2019 (Team Up) and November 2019 (Cosmic Eclipse), plus the SM Black Star Promos. The 131st is a Pikachu & Zekrom-GX in the 30th Celebration: Classic Collection, released in September 2026. Together they cover 39 pairings. Prices in this guide are TCGplayer market prices as of October 4, 2026. The dearest card is Latias & Latios-GX #170 from Team Up, at $3,913.85 for the Holofoil printing, with its lowest TCGplayer listing at $3,000 and its highest at $4,899.99. The cheapest is Bellelba & Brycen-Man #186 from Cosmic Eclipse, at 31 cents for the Normal printing, with a lowest listing of 3 cents.
The median card is about $93.38. One of every priced card comes to about $23,563. That figure is a floor, because two cards are not in it: Gardevoir & Sylveon-GX #225, whose price rests on a thin market, and Togepi & Cleffa & Igglybuff-GX #143a, which has no price. Latias & Latios-GX #170 is about 17 percent of the total on its own, and the 20 Team Up cards are about 44 percent.
What the list is, and what it is not
The rule behind the list, printed under the live table further down, reads: English cards printed as TAG TEAMs, two or three Pokémon on one card, by the subtype the card database records. So the list is what the catalog stores under that subtype, not every TAG TEAM card in print.
Twenty-nine of the 39 pairings put two Pokémon on a card. Three put three: Moltres & Zapdos & Articuno-GX, Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX and Togepi & Cleffa & Igglybuff-GX, ten cards between them.
The other seven pairings are named for two characters rather than two Pokémon, with no GX: Red & Blue, Cynthia & Caitlin, Mallow & Lana, Guzma & Hala, Misty & Lorelei, Bellelba & Brycen-Man and Sabrina & Brycen. The card database files their eleven cards under the same TAG TEAM subtype, and the selector reads the subtype, so they are in the list and in every figure here, although the rule's wording speaks of Pokémon. Ten of the eleven are from Cosmic Eclipse; Sabrina & Brycen is a promo.
Some cards sit outside the rule. TCGplayer-only entries, jumbo cards and World Championship deck printings among them, carry no subtype in the card database, so the selector cannot see them. Fifteen of those have TAG TEAM-style names, with an ampersand and GX. The dearest of them by market price, a Togepi & Cleffa & Igglybuff GX that TCGplayer files under Alternate Art Promos at $297.70, is in neither the table nor the totals. Inside the list, Togepi & Cleffa & Igglybuff-GX #143a from Cosmic Eclipse, a Rare Ultra, has no market price: it counts as one of the 131 and adds nothing to any price figure.
Japanese cards are not in the list, and no Japanese price appears here; Japanese Tag All Stars (SM12a) has its own guide.
Where the 131 come from
| Set | Released | TAG TEAM cards | Priced cards added up |
|---|---|---|---|
| SM Black Star Promos | promo line | 17 | $2,299.84 |
| Team Up | February 2019 | 20 | $10,295.54 |
| Unbroken Bonds | May 2019 | 26 | $2,761.56 (25 counted) |
| Unified Minds | August 2019 | 24 | $3,463.25 |
| Hidden Fates | August 2019 | 3 | $143.08 |
| Cosmic Eclipse | November 2019 | 40 | $4,574.82 (39 counted) |
| 30th Celebration: Classic Collection | September 2026 | 1 | $25.20 |
Team Up's 20 cards are about 15 percent of the list. Cosmic Eclipse has the most cards, 40, ten of them character cards, and about 19 percent of the total. Hidden Fates has three, all Moltres & Zapdos & Articuno-GX, and that is the only pairing whose Rare Rainbow is priced below its Rare Holo GX.
None of the Sun & Moon sets appears in the site's pull-rate tables, so this guide gives no odds for them; the Classic Collection card's odds are on the 30th Celebration pull rates page.
Every pairing, priced
The table adds up the priced cards of each pairing, and "promo" means the SM Black Star Promos. Two rows are floors. Gardevoir & Sylveon-GX counts three of its four cards, because #225 has a thin-market price, and Togepi & Cleffa & Igglybuff-GX counts one of its two, because #143a has no price.

Two Team Up pairings stand apart. Latias & Latios-GX adds up to $4,321.58 and Gengar & Mimikyu-GX to $3,398.40, together about a third of the total. All four Gengar & Mimikyu-GX cards are among the 12 dearest in the list. The lowest-priced of the four, #53, is a Rare Holo GX at $391.73 for the Holofoil printing, with a lowest listing of $235.26, and it is the dearest card of that rarity by about $244.
Pikachu & Zekrom-GX has the most cards, six: two promos, three from Team Up and the Classic Collection #33. Reshiram & Charizard-GX has five. Twenty-four pairings have four cards, and four have a single card: the promo Trevenant & Dusknoir-GX #SM217, $31.78 for the Holofoil printing with a lowest listing of $21.98, and three of the character pairings. Species-by-species comparisons are in Which Pokémon have the most valuable cards?
The dearest, and sixteen pairs of Rare Ultras
The ten dearest cards, with the printing each price belongs to and the lowest TCGplayer listing on the same day:
| Card | Set | Rarity | Printing | Market | Lowest listing |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Latias & Latios-GX #170 | Team Up | Rare Ultra | Holofoil | $3,913.85 | $3,000.00 |
| Gengar & Mimikyu-GX #165 | Team Up | Rare Ultra | Holofoil | $2,063.55 | $2,476.26 |
| Magikarp & Wailord-GX #161 | Team Up | Rare Ultra | Holofoil | $882.13 | $817.90 |
| Gardevoir & Sylveon-GX #205 | Unbroken Bonds | Rare Ultra | Holofoil | $657.57 | $849.95 |
| Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX #221 | Cosmic Eclipse | Rare Ultra | Holofoil | $585.94 | $480.99 |
| Gengar & Mimikyu-GX #186 | Team Up | Rare Rainbow | Holofoil | $546.23 | $392.06 |
| Blastoise & Piplup-GX #215 | Cosmic Eclipse | Rare Ultra | Holofoil | $500.99 | $419.00 |
| Reshiram & Zekrom-GX #222 | Cosmic Eclipse | Rare Ultra | Holofoil | $424.54 | $350.00 |
| Mewtwo & Mew-GX #242 | Unified Minds | Rare Rainbow | Holofoil | $422.64 | $413.93 |
| Gengar & Mimikyu-GX #164 | Team Up | Rare Ultra | Holofoil | $396.89 | $370.00 |
Latias & Latios-GX #170 is credited to Sanosuke Sakuma. Team Up has a second Rare Ultra Latias & Latios-GX, #169, credited to 5ban Graphics, at $122.40 for the Holofoil printing with a lowest listing of $99.99. Same pairing, same set, same rarity label, and #170 is about 32 times the price.
The same shape runs through 16 pairings in Team Up, Unbroken Bonds, Unified Minds and Cosmic Eclipse. Each has two Rare Ultra cards: the lower-numbered one credited to 5ban Graphics, aky CG Works or ConceptLab, the higher-numbered one to one of 16 different illustrators. In all 16 the higher-numbered card is the dearer, by a factor of about 2.2 for Slowpoke & Psyduck-GX up to about 32 for Latias & Latios-GX. The 16 higher-numbered cards add up to $11,025.15, about 47 percent of the total, against $1,461.30 for the 16 they pair with.
Two of the ten dearest had no TCGplayer listing at or under their market price. Gengar & Mimikyu-GX #165, credited to Midori Harada, had a lowest listing of $2,476.26 against a Holofoil market price of $2,063.55, about 1.2 times. Gardevoir & Sylveon-GX #205, credited to Atsuko Nishida, had $849.95 against a Holofoil market price of $657.57, about 1.3 times. Both are under the 1.5 times at which the site marks a price as a thin market, so both stay in the dearest list and the total. None of the ten rests on a single listing price.
One card in the list is a thin market. Gardevoir & Sylveon-GX #225, the Unbroken Bonds Rare Rainbow, has a market price of $185.21 for the Holofoil printing, but its lowest listing was $349.99, about 1.9 times that, so the live table sets it apart from the dearest and the cheapest and keeps it out of the total.
The middle of the list
Of the 130 priced cards, 123 are at $10 or more, 90 at $50 or more and 60 at $100 or more.
By the database's rarity labels, the 31 Rare Holo GX cards have a median price of $52.25, the 17 promos $125.60, the 28 Rare Rainbows $131.28 and the 48 priced Rare Ultras about $120. The Rare Ultra figure is held down by the 16 lower-numbered cards described above: the other 32 priced Rare Ultras have a median price of about $222. Mitsuhiro Arita is credited on 29 of the 31 Rare Holo GX cards and on 31 cards in all, a count only 5ban Graphics passes, with 39.
The cheap end
The eight cheapest cards, with printing and lowest listing:
| Card | Set | Rarity | Printing | Market | Lowest listing |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bellelba & Brycen-Man #186 | Cosmic Eclipse | Uncommon | Normal | $0.31 | $0.03 |
| Mallow & Lana #198 | Cosmic Eclipse | Uncommon | Normal | $0.37 | $0.17 |
| Red & Blue #202 | Cosmic Eclipse | Uncommon | Normal | $0.38 | $0.20 |
| Misty & Lorelei #199 | Cosmic Eclipse | Uncommon | Normal | $0.55 | $0.28 |
| Sabrina & Brycen #SM246 | SM Black Star Promos | Promo | Normal | $0.70 | $0.09 |
| Cynthia & Caitlin #189 | Cosmic Eclipse | Uncommon | Normal | $3.28 | $1.00 |
| Guzma & Hala #193 | Cosmic Eclipse | Uncommon | Normal | $6.64 | $3.99 |
| Naganadel & Guzzlord-GX #158 | Cosmic Eclipse | Rare Holo GX | Holofoil | $11.63 | $8.14 |
The seven cheapest cards are all character cards, and the six under $5 add up to $5.59. The cheapest GX card in the list is Naganadel & Guzzlord-GX #158, a Cosmic Eclipse Rare Holo GX at $11.63 for the Holofoil printing, with a lowest listing of $8.14.
Four of the character pairings have a Rare Ultra in Cosmic Eclipse as well as an Uncommon, and as a ratio no pairing's cards are further apart than Red & Blue's: Red & Blue #234 is $232.74 for the Holofoil printing, with a lowest listing of $194.99, about 610 times the 38 cents of Red & Blue #202. The eleven character cards add up to $611.44, and those four Rare Ultras are $599.21 of it.
The one card from 2026 sits near the cheap end too. Pikachu & Zekrom-GX #33 from the 30th Celebration: Classic Collection is $25.20 for the Holofoil printing, with a lowest listing of $24.99. Team Up's Pikachu & Zekrom-GX #33 carries the same number, the same Rare Holo GX label and the same credit, Mitsuhiro Arita, and is $54.91 for the Holofoil printing, with a lowest listing of $44.99. The rest of that set is covered in 30th Celebration Classic Collection cards: odds and prices.
The live table
The table below refreshes with the daily prices. It shows the 30 dearest and the 30 cheapest cards, lists any thin-market price apart, and opens with totals that count all 131. Each row's eBay button searches raw copies of that card, Buy It Now from US sellers, capped 12 percent under market on the item price where the button names a price, so shipping comes on top (affiliate links).
131 cards, 130 with a TCGplayer market price. Median $93.38; 6 under $5. Cheapest: Bellelba & Brycen-Man #186 (Cosmic Eclipse) at $0.31. Dearest: Latias & Latios-GX #170 (Team Up) at $3,914. One of each priced card comes to $23,563, a floor: it leaves out 1 thin-market price (marked below) and 1 card with no price.

Showing 61 of 131 cards: the 30 dearest and the 30 cheapest, and the thin-market prices. The totals above count all 131. The other 70 are not listed here.
Rule: English cards printed as TAG TEAMs, two or three Pokémon on one card, by the subtype the card database records.
Market is the TCGplayer market price the card’s own page shows, updated daily. “Thin market” marks a price with no TCGplayer listing near it (none listed, or the lowest more than 1.5 times the market) or with an open price flag: one old sale can set such a number, so it is passed over for the cheapest and the dearest card and left out of the one-of-each total. Beside a dearest card whose lowest and highest TCGplayer listing are the same, the block prints that one listing price. Each eBay button searches raw copies of that card, Buy It Now from US sellers, lowest price first, capped 12% under market where the button names a price.
Some cards come only from TCGplayer's catalog (jumbo cards, prize-pack and World Championship deck printings and the Shadowless Base Set among them). The catalog stores no subtype for them, so they are not in this list.
The 12 percent rule and the condition factors behind it are on the methodology page. Every price here is a raw Near Mint market price; graded copies trade in a market of their own, covered in the raw versus graded guide.
What changes and what stays
Dated figures: every price, the median, the totals, the counts above and below a price, which cards are dearest and cheapest, the gaps inside the 16 Rare Ultra pairs, and which card is a thin market or has no price. All date from the day in the opening paragraph. The live table shows the median, the count under $5, the total and the 30 cards at each end as they move; the set, pairing and rarity figures and the counts at $10, $50 and $100 appear in no live block.
Lasting facts: the 131 cards, the 39 pairings, the sets, card numbers, rarity labels and illustrator credits, and the rule that selects them. The list grows if another card is printed with the TAG TEAM subtype, as the Classic Collection Pikachu & Zekrom-GX was in September 2026, and changes if the card database changes a card's subtype, which could also take the eleven character cards out. The thin-market rule and the 12 percent cap change only if the site changes its method.
Bottom line
The catalog lists 131 English TAG TEAM cards in 39 pairings, all but one from the Sun & Moon series. They run from 31 cents for Bellelba & Brycen-Man #186 to $3,913.85 for Latias & Latios-GX #170. Team Up's 20 cards make up about 44 percent of the one-of-each total, and the 16 higher-numbered Rare Ultras about 47 percent. Below $10 the list is character cards only, and the total is a floor.
