The card catalog behind Pullnomics credits 249 English Pokémon cards to Tomokazu Komiya. The earliest are two Wizards Black Star Promos, a set the catalog dates to 1999, and the last by set date on October 4, 2026 is Pikachu #32 from 30th Celebration, released in September 2026; by the catalog's set dates, every year in between has at least one. They are spread over 91 sets in 14 series and the catalog's catch-all "Other" series, which holds three McDonald's Collection cards. Prices in this guide are TCGplayer market prices as of October 4, 2026, and 245 of the 249 cards have one.

Most are low-priced: 162 of the 245 priced cards are under $5, and 99 are under $1. The median card is about $1.82. One of every priced card comes to about $2,742. That figure is a floor, because three thin-market prices and four cards with no price are not added into it. The dearest card is Scraggy #7 from McDonald's Collection 2016, priced at its Holofoil printing at $199.99, with its lowest TCGplayer listing at $139.99. About 65 percent of that total comes from the five series dated 1999 to 2007, from 93 of their 97 cards (the other four are the three thin markets and one unpriced card).

What the list counts

The list is every English card whose illustrator credit in the card database is Tomokazu Komiya, however the credit is capitalized: the catalog's credits, not a record of everything Komiya has drawn. The catalog also holds cards it takes from TCGplayer alone, jumbo cards, prize-pack and World Championship deck printings and the Shadowless Base Set among them, and stores no illustrator credit for any of them, so none can be attributed to Komiya and the site cannot name the dearest of them. No Japanese printing or price is in the list.

Four of the 249 cards have no market price: Magnemite #4 from the EX Trainer Kit Latios, Zorua #BW12 (BW Black Star Promos), Celebi #XY187 (XY Black Star Promos) and Gulpin #RC12 (Generations). They add nothing to any total or to the median.

Each card has one price, the one its own page shows. A Common, Uncommon or Rare is priced at its regular printing, Normal in the dearest table, and every other rarity at its holo, with Unlimited ahead of 1st Edition for vintage sets. When that printing has no market price, the next priced one stands in: Gengar #94 from 151, a Rare, is priced at its Holofoil printing, and Machamp #43, a promo, at its regular one. A reverse holo or a 1st Edition copy is a separate printing that these figures do not include. Every price is for a raw, ungraded Near Mint card; graded copies are a separate market, covered in raw vs graded. The same kind of count by Pokémon is in which Pokémon have the most valuable cards.

The live table

The table below reads the same catalog and refreshes with each daily price update: a totals line, then the 30 dearest and the 30 cheapest cards and the thin-market prices, each with an eBay search for raw copies (affiliate links). The Tomokazu Komiya artist page lists every card.

Live

249 cards, 245 with a TCGplayer market price. Median $1.82; 162 under $5. Cheapest: Venipede #115 (Twilight Masquerade) at $0.09. Dearest: Scraggy #7 (McDonald's Collection 2016) at $199.99. One of each priced card comes to $2,742, a floor: it leaves out 3 thin-market prices (marked below) and 4 cards with no price.

Showing 63 of 249 cards: the 30 dearest and the 30 cheapest, and the thin-market prices. The totals above count all 249. Every card is listed on the Tomokazu Komiya page.

Rule: English cards whose illustrator credit is Tomokazu Komiya, however the credit is capitalized.

Market is the TCGplayer market price the card’s own page shows, updated daily. “Thin market” marks a price with no TCGplayer listing near it (none listed, or the lowest more than 1.5 times the market) or with an open price flag: one old sale can set such a number, so it is passed over for the cheapest and the dearest card and left out of the one-of-each total. Beside a dearest card whose lowest and highest TCGplayer listing are the same, the block prints that one listing price. Each eBay button searches raw copies of that card, Buy It Now from US sellers, lowest price first, capped 12% under market where the button names a price.

Some cards come only from TCGplayer's catalog (jumbo cards, prize-pack and World Championship deck printings and the Shadowless Base Set among them). The catalog stores no illustrator credit for them, so they are not in this list.

Across the series

The years are the catalog's set release dates, so a promo carries its promo set's date. The last column adds one copy of each card at a firm price, without the three thin-market prices (one in E-Card, two in EX) or the four unpriced cards.

All 1999 to 2026 249 245 $2,742.27

The five series dated 1999 to 2007 (Base, Neo, E-Card, EX and POP) hold 97 cards, and their firm prices add up to $1,792.14, about 65 percent of the total; only 8 of their 96 priced cards are under $1. E-Card alone, 23 cards from Expedition Base Set, Aquapolis and Skyridge, adds up to $802.52 at its 22 firm prices, about 29 percent. All seven of Komiya's Skyridge cards are Commons priced at their regular printing, and together they come to $320.61, from Venonat #112 at $22.93 (lowest listing $20.46) to Ditto #51 at $82.84 (lowest listing $94).

The four series from Sun & Moon on run the other way. Their 82 cards add up to $525.77, about 19 percent of the total, and 65 of them are under $1. The eight priced at $10 or more hold $472.49 of the $525.77, about 90 percent. In Sword & Shield, 32 of the 34 cards are under $1, and Galarian Slowking V #179 from Chilling Reign (June 2021), a Rare Ultra at its Holofoil printing, is $114.77 of the series' $125.80, with a lowest listing of $109.98.

The series in between, Diamond & Pearl through XY with the three McDonald's cards, hold 70 cards and add up to $424.36, nearly half of it Scraggy #7.

The dearest cards

These are the ten dearest firm prices, with each card's printing and lowest TCGplayer listing.

Card Set Year Rarity Printing Market Lowest listing
Scraggy #7 McDonald's Collection 2016 2016 none recorded Holofoil $199.99 $139.99
Eevee & Snorlax-GX #SM169 SM Black Star Promos 2017 Promo Holofoil $199.75 $140
Galarian Slowking V #179 Chilling Reign 2021 Rare Ultra Holofoil $114.77 $109.98
Primeape #29 Aquapolis 2003 Rare Normal $94.33 $99.99
Ditto #51 Skyridge 2003 Common Normal $82.84 $94
Politoed #8 Neo Discovery 2001 Rare Holo Unlimited Holofoil $81.75 $58.46
Golbat #60 Skyridge 2003 Common Normal $80.53 $104.36
Machamp #43 Wizards Black Star Promos 1999 Promo Normal $77.73 $50
Cubone #103 Expedition Base Set 2002 Common Normal $70.05 $59.99
Bulbasaur #95 Expedition Base Set 2002 Common Normal $69.38 $47.81

The ten add up to $1,071.12, about 39 percent of the total, and the first two alone to $399.74, about 15 percent. Scraggy's TCGplayer listings ran from $139.99 to $199.99, its market price at the top of that range. The same credit is on Scraggy #66 from Furious Fists (2014), a Common at its regular printing, $0.28 with a lowest listing of $0.10. Eevee & Snorlax-GX #SM169 is a promo the catalog records as a TAG TEAM. The pair's three Team Up cards carry other credits, Mitsuhiro Arita on #120 and 5ban Graphics on #171 and #191, so they are not in this list.

Seven of the ten come from sets dated 1999 to 2003, and four are Commons at their regular printing. For three of the ten the lowest TCGplayer listing was above the market price, so no listing was at or below it on the day: Primeape #29 at $94.33 against $99.99, Ditto #51 at $82.84 against $94 and Golbat #60 at $80.53 against $104.36. No card in the list has its lowest and highest listing at one price, the pattern that can mean a price rests on a single listing.

Three prices are thin markets: the lowest listing is more than 1.5 times the market price, so one old sale can set the number (the TCGplayer market price guide covers how that price is built). Pidgeot #23 (Expedition Base Set), a Rare Holo at its Holofoil printing, has a market price of $174.97, but its lowest listing was $399.99, so the table leaves it out of the dearest; at its market price it would rank third. Exploud #6 (Hidden Legends), a Rare Holo at its Holofoil printing, is $27.29 against a lowest listing of $192.04, and Yanma #28 (Team Rocket Returns), a Rare at its regular printing, $14.65 against $99.44. None of the three is in the one-of-each total. Expedition Base Set holds more of Komiya's cards than any other set, ten.

Under $5, and the cheapest

Of the 162 cards under $5, 72 are from Sun & Moon onward, 52 from the series in between and 38 from the series dated 1999 to 2007. The cheapest two tie at $0.09: Venipede #115 from Twilight Masquerade (May 2024) and Murkrow #57 from Phantasmal Flames (November 2025), both Commons at their regular printing with a lowest listing of $0.01.

On these prices Murkrow sits at both ends of the live table: Murkrow #57 ties for the cheapest, and Murkrow #79 from Skyridge, also a Common at its regular printing, is $26.23 with a lowest listing of $22, the 30th dearest firm price. Diglett spans a similar range without reaching the 30 cheapest: Skyridge #50 is $43.22 (lowest listing $42.39) and Generations #38 is $0.58 (lowest listing $0.10), both at their regular printing.

The deal feed takes a listing only when its adjusted market price is at least $5 and its landed price, item plus shipping, at least $4, so no listing scored against one of these 162 prices can appear there. The methodology page sets out each step, and for these cards the eBay button carries no cap: the 12 percent cap starts at a $5 market price.

Six Illustration Rares

Komiya's six Illustration Rares are all from the Scarlet & Violet series and add up to $157.97, each priced at its Holofoil printing.

Card Set (released) Market Lowest listing
Drowzee #210 Scarlet & Violet (March 2023) $49 $43
Baxcalibur #210 Paldea Evolved (June 2023) $33.85 $28
Frigibax #208 Paldea Evolved (June 2023) $23.64 $18
Brute Bonnet #207 Paradox Rift (November 2023) $18.36 $15
Arctibax #209 Paldea Evolved (June 2023) $17.45 $16.04
Karrablast #94 Black Bolt (July 2025) $15.67 $13

Frigibax #208, Arctibax #209 and Baxcalibur #210 are one evolution line on consecutive numbers in Paldea Evolved, $74.94 together. The other ten Scarlet & Violet cards add up to $4.08, the dearest of them Gengar #94 from 151 at $2.55 for its Holofoil printing (lowest listing $1.25); Komiya is also credited on the two cards before it, Gastly #92 and Haunter #93. Pull odds by tier are in the pull-rate tables, and sealed EV compares sealed prices with the raw card value they hold on average.

The Mega Evolution series adds two Phantasmal Flames Commons, Murkrow #57 and Charcadet #19 (regular printing, $0.21, lowest listing $0.01), and Pikachu #32 from 30th Celebration, a Pikachu Rare at its Holofoil printing, $1.03 with a lowest listing of $0.55. It is one of that set's 30 Pikachu Rares, each credited to a different illustrator, which the 30th Celebration Pikachu guide lists.

What changes and what stays

The dated figures are every price, lowest listing and total in this guide, the median, the counts under $5 and under $1, every ranking by price, which three prices count as thin markets and which four cards have no price, all from the date given in the opening, and they move with each daily price update. The live table above shows each day's totals and prices; the tables in the text do not update themselves.

The lasting facts are the rule and the method. The list grows whenever a later set or promo credits Tomokazu Komiya, and would change if the card database corrected a credit or added credits to the cards it takes from TCGplayer alone. Release dates and card numbers do not move, and a rarity moves only if the card database corrects one or records one for the four cards that have none. The one price rule changes only if the site changes how it picks a printing, though the printing picked for a card changes when its preferred printing gains or loses a market price.

Bottom line

The catalog credits Tomokazu Komiya with 249 English cards across 91 sets, with at least one in every year from 1999 to 2026 by its set dates. Most are low-priced, 162 of the 245 priced cards under $5, and the value sits in the oldest series: the cards dated 1999 to 2007 make up about 65 percent of the one-of-each total. The dearest card is the Holofoil Scraggy #7 from McDonald's Collection 2016 at $199.99, with a lowest listing of $139.99; the Holofoil Pidgeot #23 (Expedition Base Set) would rank third at $174.97, but its lowest listing was $399.99, which makes it a thin market. TCGplayer-only cards carry no credit in the catalog and are not in the list.
