One Pikachu from every era: the cheapest and dearest by series
Taking the cheapest Pikachu of each of 16 series gives $129.74 and the dearest of each $5,063.74, from a $0.31 Common to a $1,015.89 promo (Oct 4, 2026).
The card database behind Pullnomics files the English cards it lists with Pikachu's Pokédex number under 17 series, 16 of them with a priced card, and the cheapest and the dearest Pikachu of each of those 16 make 31 cards that add up to $5,180.69 in TCGplayer market prices as of October 4, 2026. The cheapest picks add up to $129.74 and the dearest picks to $5,063.74. Neo's single Pikachu in the list fills both of its places and counts once.
Each of the 16 cheapest picks is a Common, from Pikachu #62 of Paldea Evolved at $0.31 (Normal printing, lowest TCGplayer listing $0.01) up to Pikachu #124 of Expedition Base Set at $30.47 (Normal, lowest listing $24.83). The dearest picks run from Surfing Pikachu #111 of Evolutions at $10.19 (Normal, lowest listing $6) to Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat #85 from the Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos at $1,015.89 (Normal, lowest listing $900). One of the 17 series, "Other", is the catalog's catch-all series, not an era.
What the list counts
The list follows one rule, the same one printed under the table: for each series of English sets, as the card database names it, the cheapest and the dearest card whose Pokémon is Pikachu (Pokédex #25); a cheapest or dearest card whose price is a thin market is passed over for the next one. A thin market is a price with no TCGplayer listing near it (none listed, or the lowest more than 1.5 times the market) or with an open price flag, because one old sale can set such a number.
The rule finds 213 cards, and 196 of them have a TCGplayer market price. Across those 196, the median card is about $12.20. One of every priced card comes to about $10,676. That total is a floor: it leaves out the 17 cards with no market price and the two thin-market prices.
Each card carries one price, at the printing the site's one price rule picks (the regular card for a Common, Uncommon or Rare, the holo for anything else, Unlimited ahead of 1st Edition, and the next priced printing when that one has none), and the tables name it. Every price is raw, ungraded Near Mint; graded copies are a separate market, covered in raw vs graded.
The list is every English card the catalog lists with Pikachu's Pokédex number, not every Pikachu card printed. The 7,117 TCGplayer-only cards in the catalog's English category (jumbo cards, prize-pack and World Championship deck printings and the Shadowless Base Set among them) carry no Pokédex number, so the rule cannot see them, and the names of 274 of them mention Pikachu. The dearest of them by name, "Mega Tokyo's Pikachu - 98/XY-P", carries an XY-P promo number that the site treats as a Japanese printing, so this guide gives no price for it. The dearest of the rest is "Pikachu EX - XY124", filed under XY Promos, at $493.11, then "Pikachu - DP16", filed under Countdown Calendar Promos, at $378.27. This guide's data gives those two a market price only, with no printing or listing. The list itself has a Pikachu-EX #XY124 (XY Black Star Promos) and a Pikachu #DP16 (DP Black Star Promos), both with no market price. The data does not show whether the TCGplayer-only rows with those numbers are the same printings, and XY's dearest priced Pikachu in this list is $10.19. The list is English only.
The live table below groups the list by series, in order of each series' earliest card, and shows each series' cheapest and dearest pick (one row for Neo, whose one card is both), with a line under a series naming any thin-market price passed over for its dearest. It updates with the daily prices. Its eBay buttons search raw copies, Buy It Now from US sellers, capped 12 percent under market where a button names a price, and they are affiliate links.
213 cards, 196 with a TCGplayer market price. Median $12.20; 72 under $5. Cheapest: Pikachu #62 (Paldea Evolved) at $0.31. Dearest, passing over 1 thin-market price: Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat #85 (Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos) at $1,016. One of each priced card comes to $10,676, a floor: it leaves out 2 thin-market prices and 17 cards with no price.
17 series in all. The cheapest card of each, together: $129.74. The dearest of each, together: $5,064, passing over 1 thin-market price; 1 series has no priced card.

Rule: For each series of English sets, as the card database names it, the cheapest and the dearest card whose Pokémon is Pikachu (Pokédex #25); a cheapest or dearest card whose price is a thin market is passed over for the next one.
Market is the TCGplayer market price the card’s own page shows, updated daily. “Thin market” marks a price with no TCGplayer listing near it (none listed, or the lowest more than 1.5 times the market) or with an open price flag: one old sale can set such a number, so it is passed over for the cheapest and the dearest card and left out of the one-of-each total. Beside a dearest card whose lowest and highest TCGplayer listing are the same, the block prints that one listing price. Each eBay button searches raw copies of that card, Buy It Now from US sellers, lowest price first, capped 12% under market where the button names a price.
Some cards come only from TCGplayer's catalog (jumbo cards, prize-pack and World Championship deck printings and the Shadowless Base Set among them). The catalog stores no Pokédex number for them, so they are not in this list.

The five series from XY onward each have a cheapest Pikachu under $1.20, and those five together are $3.25. The other eleven priced series supply the remaining $126.49, and two of them, E-Card ($30.47) and POP ($21.61), account for about 40 percent of the whole $129.74. Both E-Card Pikachu cards in the list are Commons, and the cheaper is dearer than the dearest pick of five other series.

| Mega Evolution | Pikachu ex #276, Ascended Heroes | Special Illustration Rare | Holofoil | $926.12 | $746.96 |
The dearest picks add up to $5,063.74, and three of them hold about 53 percent of it: the Grey Felt Hat promo, Pikachu ex #276 from Ascended Heroes, a Special Illustration Rare at $926.12 (Holofoil, lowest listing $746.96), and the Other series' Pokémon Rumble card at $750. The Ascended Heroes pull-rate page gives the pack odds of its tier, and the pull-rate index lists the other sets with odds.
Of the dearest picks, four are Rare Secrets (EX, Platinum, Black & White and XY), three are promos (Base, Sword & Shield and Scarlet & Violet), and in five series (Gym, Neo, E-Card, Diamond & Pearl and HeartGold & SoulSilver) the dearest Pikachu is a Common. The rarities guide explains the labels.
Three picks, Skyridge #84, Legend Maker's Pikachu δ #93 and POP Series 6's Pikachu #9, had a lowest TCGplayer listing above their market price (see the table), none by more than 1.5 times, so none is a thin market. None of the 31 picks rests on a single listing price either: each had a lowest and a highest TCGplayer listing that differ.
"Other" is a catch-all series, not an era
"Other" is the card database's catch-all series. In this list it holds 11 Pikachu cards from 11 products released between May 2002 and August 2022: Legendary Collection, Pokémon Rumble, the McDonald's Collections of 2014 to 2019, 2021 and 2022, and the Pokémon Futsal Collection. It sits between Neo and E-Card in the table only because series are ordered by their earliest card, here the Legendary Collection Pikachu of May 2002.
Its cheapest pick is that card, Pikachu #86 at $6.48 (Normal, lowest listing $2.15). Its dearest is Pikachu #7 from Pokémon Rumble at $750, priced at its Holofoil printing, with the lowest TCGplayer listing at $600 and the highest at $995. The series' nine firm prices add up to $979.99, so the Rumble card alone is about 77 percent of them. Of the remaining two, Pikachu on the Ball #1 from the Pokémon Futsal Collection has no market price, and Pikachu #6 from McDonald's Collection 2016 has a thin market: its market price is $32.99 at the Holofoil printing, but its lowest listing was $69.99, about 2.1 times that, so it counts toward neither a pick nor the total.
Counted apart, the Other picks are $756.48 of the 31-card figure, and the other 15 series with a priced card come to $123.26 for their cheapest picks and $4,313.74 for their dearest.
Passed over and unpriced
Two of the 196 priced cards have thin markets, and only one of them changes a pick. Pikachu ★ #104 from Holon Phantoms has a market price of $1,899.99 at its Holofoil printing, but its lowest listing was $6,997.84, so the table leaves it out of the dearest. That $6,997.84 was also its highest listing, so TCGplayer showed one listing price for the card, about 3.7 times its market price. The EX series' dearest pick passes to Pikachu δ #93 from Legend Maker.
Seventeen cards have no market price. They include both cards of the NP series, Pikachu #12 and Pikachu δ #35 from the Nintendo Black Star Promos, so that series has no pick at all. The rest are seven of XY's 15 (six of them XY Black Star Promos), three of the six in Black & White, and one each in EX, Diamond & Pearl, HeartGold & SoulSilver, Scarlet & Violet and Other. An unpriced card is not compared, so a series' dearest pick is the dearest of its priced cards: XY's $10.19 is the dearest of eight, not of 15.
Where the rest of the money sits
The 31 picks are about 49 percent of the $10,676 one-of-each total. The other $5,495.70 sits in 163 firm prices, and about 72 percent of it, $3,969.42, is in four series once their picks are set aside: Sun & Moon, Sword & Shield, Scarlet & Violet and Mega Evolution. Counting their picks, those four hold 135 of the 194 firm prices, together $6,625.29, about 62 percent of the total, and Sun & Moon's firm prices, $1,959.26 in all, are the most of any series. Forty cards sit in the Mega Evolution series, 30 of them the Pikachu Rare cards of 30th Celebration, which have a guide of their own. Every card in the list is on the Pikachu page, and how Pikachu ranks against other Pokémon is in which Pokémon have the most valuable cards.
What changes and what stays
The dated figures are every price and listing in this guide, the median, the totals, which card is each series' cheapest and dearest, and which prices are thin or missing, all as of October 4, 2026, and they move with each daily price update. The live table above shows the prices, the median, the totals and each series' picks on the day it is read, though not the lowest listings the tables give, and the panel above the text sets the key card prices beside their live values; the tables in the text do not update.
The lasting facts are the rule, the series names and the sets filed under each, the card list, and the method: the one price rule, the 1.5 times thin-market line and the 12 percent below-market line. The card list grows when a later set or promo prints Pikachu again, which can change a series' picks or add a series. It would also change if the card database regrouped a series or gave the TCGplayer-only cards Pokédex numbers, which could bring some of the 274 whose names mention Pikachu under the rule. The method changes only if the site changes it.
Bottom line
The cheapest and the dearest Pikachu of each of the 16 priced series make 31 cards that add up to $5,180.69 as of October 4, 2026: $129.74 for the cheapest picks, every one a Common, and $5,063.74 for the dearest, with Neo's one card, $12.79, in both and counted once. Three dearest picks are about 53 percent of the dearest total. "Other" is the catalog's catch-all, here 11 products whose Pikachu cards run from 2002 to 2022, so its $750 Rumble card is that series' pick, not an era's. Each pick is the cheapest or dearest of the firm prices, never a thin-market one, and the one-of-every-card total is a floor.
